OPC Members Area - OPC Specifications and Working Groups

The OPC Foundation technology and direction is steered by various working groups, all of which are open for members to join and participate.

Group	Description
Compliance	Responsible for the Certification & Compliance program which also includes test-case and test-tool development and maintenance.
ISA-95	Responsible for the definition and maintenance of an OPC UA information model for the ISA-95 standard that will complement the B2MML technology.
MES	Responsible for the definition and maintenance of OPC UA information model for standardizing integration between PLCopen devices and MES.
Software Management	Responsible for the OPC Foundation software deliverables.
Technical Advisory Council	Responsible for approving the release of Specifications, and to act as a technical steering committee for the general direction of the Foundation and technology.
Unified Architecture	Responsible for defining and maintaining the OPC UA Specifications.
