OPC Foundation Announces Software Management Working Group (SMG)

The OPC Foundation announces the creation of a Software Management Working Group (SMG). This group will review, schedule and monitor requested modifications or new developments of software components that are part of the OPC Foundation Technology Portfolio.

Overall goals:
Prioritize requested features, changes, and bug fixes that are most important for the OPC Foundation Member community.
Provide the necessary infrastructure and process to ensure OPC Foundation quality deliverables.
Work closely with other working groups (including collaboration groups and compliance working group)
Cristian Pogacean from Softing will be the chair of this group
OPC Foundation is looking for volunteers interested and able to participate in this important working group. Participation is open to any OPC Foundation Member company with good knowledge of the OPC-provided software components.
