Certification Test Lab Signup Procedure

1. Make sure your product passes the OPC Foundation Compliance Test Tool(s) first!

2. Submit the A1 - Application form and A2 - Product Functionality Checklist.

The information in the functionality checklist is used to create the test-plan.

3. If applicable, send a purchase order or credit card for the testing-services based on the estimate from the Test Lab.

4. A certification test engineer will contact you, and will guide you through the rest of this easy process.

5. Download the Product Configuration guide for OPC Servers and/or OPC Clients.

Once testing is complete and your product has passed all of the tests then you will receive the logo license agreement, and the official Certified logo (provided in low and high-resolution formats), and an official certificate that contains your unique serial number.

Free Testing

OPC Foundation Corporate Members are eligible for FREE* testing at the OPC Foundation Certification Test Lab:

• Class A: 4 products
• Class B: 3 products
• Class C: 2 products
• Class D: 1 product

Fee-based Testing

Testing that is not covered by the Free testing are subject to the following costs:

• OPC Foundation Certification Test Lab: US$1000 per day.
• European Certification Test Lab: US$1500 per day.
