Canary Labs specializes in providing trending software tools and plant-wide historians for industrial process plants. Canary's trending applications are used to collect, store, and view process control data from a wide variety of devices and locations around a plant. The data is collected on regular intervals ranging from once an hour to sub-second. Operators, technicians, engineers and managers use Canary's trending software tools to quickly extract data from the historical database and view it in a clear and concise format. An operator can examine the last two hours of data to determine the current status of the manufacturing operation. A technician can use trending to look for gradual decline in a machine's performance and schedule preventative maintenance. Engineering can compare and analyze the data to improve the plant's efficiency and product quality. As a management tool, the overview of the plant output and operation can be easily monitored. |
