For tool builders, ILS Technology offers a broad range of solutions that focus on increasing visibility
to tools deployed around the world. Within the tool, customers are able to access more information
from the components to enable preventative maintenance, advanced alarming, and configuration
management solutions. Outside of the tool, ILST offers products that enable secure remote
connectivity. This connectivity can be used to notify a central service center when problems
occur on deployed tools, and it can also be used to remotely access the tool for remote
remediation. When you combine the ILST products in and out of the tool, you are able to feed
real-time faults/alerts and performance information back to your central service center and
natively into your maintenance/management systems.
For end-users, ILS Technology provides solutions that simplify connectivity problems across the
factory floor. As factories try to improve operating efficiency and reduce waste, it has become
very important to collect as much information as possible from the equipment on the floor. ILST’s
products enable collection of data from many devices and can transform that raw data into business
events and send those events to systems such as a SAP, Maximo, IBM WebSphere, or a database. ILST
also offers products that enable remote service technicians, such as integrators or vendors, to
securely access equipment on the factory floor to diagnose problems remotely, vastly improving the
amount of downtime attributed to machine faults. Customers have reported reductions of outages

ILS Technology’s deviceWISE Framework is a family of products that specialize in “device to device” and
“device to enterprise” communication. With connectivity to all of the major PLC vendors, standards
such as OPC, as well as the enterprise application vendors, deviceWISE is able to transform raw
plant data into actionable business events. deviceWISE can be found in many forms, ranging from
Enterprise versions for Windows, Linux, HP-UX, AIX, and Solaris, to embedded versions that can be
