Hello Johann,

Corporate Members of the OPC Foundation can publish their OPC UA enabled products directly in the OPC Marketplace. Once they are published by the member company they immediately will be visible in the OPC Marketplace.

UA Logo Members can only generate the product entries but their products will not be public, unless the product was successfully certified and the whole certification process is completed. This is the case when the UA Logo member has received their certificate and the welcome letter. Making the product entry publicly visible in the OPC Marketplace is then the last step in the process.

I hope this helps,
Alexander Allmendinger

As OPC enthusiasts, you may already have been wondering:

Q: “How can we make the world more aware of our OPC-enabled products?”

A: The OPC Marketplace is the answer!

The OPC Marketplace lets the public easily search for OPC-enabled products that meet their needs. Whether people are looking for products that implement a particular Companion Specification, were built for a specific industry, or belong to a particular device category: the new OPC Marketplace enables them to use product-detail and OPC UA-feature filters to quickly zero in on products they are looking for.

The OPC Marketplace of course also covers services around the OPC technology, so it is not just a product catalog but is designed to show the full picture around the OPC community.

Yes, the OPC Marketplace also allows to add trainings, development or consulting services. Just follow the same steps for adding new products except for choosing one of the service categories.

Also for services we expect that the details of the offered service is provided. For example when offering a training, the training class will have a scope which could include UA Profiles (Standard UA Server, Data Access, ...). In this case it is expected to provide the exact list of covered profiles, so visitors can use the OPC Marketplace to find services matching their needs. Just like for products.
