Hi,

This is not a request, but an offer: A Python script that exchanges values between different OPC UA Servers based on the configuration stored on an XML file.

It's something that I needed it to develop for one of my projects and I thought it could be useful for other people. It can be downloaded from Github and provided with a GPL-3.0 license, so the code can be accessed and modified as needed, without limitations.

Regards,

There is no general search feature in UA because many servers will not know the address space they expose until a client asks for it (i.e. searching would require a recursive browse of everything which is resource intensive to implement and does not scale).

That said, if you know a path for node you can use TranslateBrowsePathsToNodeIs or simple call Browse multiple times.

Servers with indexed DBs may provide a server specific Method that allows searches based on globally unique names.

Hello Sreenatha,

the OPC UA 1.05 versions of several parts of the OPC UA specifications have just been released. Until first products are available utilizing this new version usually takes multiple months. Also updating the testing for a new version will also take a while but is expected to be available in 2022.

Nevertheless, I'm very certain that your product you'd like to test is not supporting the latest 1.05 version anyhow. In the profile app you can also change the UA specification version by clicking on "UACore 1.05" in the top right corner you'll find a drop down which allows to select "Change Group" after clicking on this you can switch to view the 1.04 Profile Group. Then you'll find the corresponding profiles to the 1.04 version of the UACTT.

I hope this helps.
Alexander Allmendinger

The main parameters were: Pressure, Humidity, Room temperature, Working area temperature, pH level, Mass, Liquid flow rate, CO2 level. As anomalies, we chose a point where the user would be automatically notified when crossing it. All our data has been stored in the program code, but it is not difficult to make it possible to add new parameters. I would like to get an assessment of the overall concept of the project from the forum in order to understand whether it makes sense to try to improve it.
