OPC UA Proxy

OPC UA Proxy is a software component of Integration Objects’ OPC UA Wrapper designed to bridge OPC Classic client applications and OPC Unified Architecture (OPC UA) servers. It enables existing OPC Data Access (DA), Historical Data Access (HDA), and Alarms & Events (A&E) clients to communicate with OPC UA servers without requiring those client applications to be redesigned for OPC UA.

The proxy provides an interoperability layer between OPC Classic interfaces and OPC UA services, facilitating communication across networks and helping organizations extend the useful life of existing industrial applications while adopting OPC UA technology.

By enabling OPC Classic clients to access data exposed by OPC UA servers, OPC UA Proxy supports modernization initiatives, system integration, and migration toward more interoperable industrial architectures, including Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) environments.

Designed for industrial automation engineers, system integrators, and organizations transitioning to OPC UA, OPC UA Proxy offers a practical way to connect legacy OPC Classic applications with modern OPC UA infrastructure.
