SeQent’s FirstPAGE Alarm Manager (FPAM) product line manages the entire life cycle of alarms and events in real-time with automatic alarm escalation, repeat counts, and message delays. Alarm Manager provides an innovative, user-friendly, and infinitely scalable Industrial Alarm Notification Software Platform that is highly customizable and easy to install.

Alarm Manager monitors alarms and events from a variety of different sources from life safety alarms, building automation, production/quality systems (HMI, SCADA, MES, ERP) or direct from equipment via interfaces to PLCs (OPC) or databases (ODBC). When an alarm or event takes place, Alarm Manager will automatically escalate through a pre-defined hierarchy until it is acknowledged.

FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateway for OPC

SeQent’s OPC Alarm Notification Software Integration is part of the many interoperability capabilities that FirstPAGE Alarm Manager offers. With centralized and remote management, Alarm Manager provides an innovative, user-friendly, and infinitely scalable Industrial Alarm Notification Software Platform that is highly customizable and easy to install.
FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateway for OPC collects data from one or more OPC DA, OPC HDA, or OPC UA DA compliant servers and allows business rule definition against the collected data and sends alarms to FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Server for processing. Alarm information such as name, trigger test, and value, and various obtained values from OPC data sources are all available for alarm message composition.
Supporting OPC Servers such as Kepware, RSLinx, and Matrikon, FirstPAGE Alarm Manager Gateway for OPC can monitor any OPC compliant machine, PLC or CNC for data exceptions or alarm conditions. In addition, using gateways for BACnet, Building Management and Alarming Systems (BMS) such as Siemens APOGEE may be monitored for exceptions or display values.
