Japan Analytical Instruments Manufacturers’ Association (JAIMA) was founded in 1960 with the mission to contribute to the development of the Japanese economy and the cultural lives of citizens in Japan through efforts to improve and advance technologies related to analytical instruments, which are used for laboratory experiment and research, environment protection, manufacturing processes measurement, medical examination and bio-related analysis. Around 100 manufacturers and 70 traders and distributers of analytical instruments are registered and have been working together with both government authorities and international organizations.
