Die casting is a process for components in which molten metal is injected by a plunger into a die and held under pressure until complete solidification. A complete production unit is formed by a die casting machine together with equipment for feeding the metal, removing the castings and spraying the die.
Part 1 defines Common Object Types of a “High Pressure Die Casting” Devices.
It includes Machine Identification, Status as well as Warnings and Alarms.
