Digital Product Passport - Information Model

This document defines an OPC UA Information Model for the DigitalProductPassport (DPP) as specified by the European Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR, Regulation (EU) 2024/1781). It maps the semantic data model defined in EN 18223:2026 to OPC UA ObjectTypes, DataTypes, and address space structures, enabling interoperable access to DPP data through OPC UA.

The scope includes:

• The representation of product properties, documents, multi-valued and multi-language data elements, and data element collections as defined in the CEN/CLC/JTC 24 standards series
• OPC UA ObjectTypes for real-time browsing of DPP data in an OPC UA address space
• OPC UA DataTypes for read/write of complete DPP instances as structured values
• The mapping of the GranularityEnumeration (Model, Batch, Item) for product identification levels
