OPC Server for Databases

OPC Server for Databases is an industrial connectivity solution that enables OPC clients to access data stored in relational databases. It supports real-time data access and historical data access, bridging enterprise databases and industrial systems such as SCADA, DCS, HMI, and process historians.

The server supports Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, Microsoft Access, MySQL, and Wonderware Historian. It can also connect to other databases through OLE DB or ODBC drivers, providing flexibility for integration with existing data infrastructures.

An intuitive graphical configuration interface allows users to configure database connections and map database tables to OPC items. The server can expose raw database values as well as processed data calculated using aggregation functions, including interpolation, minimum, maximum, average, range, and total.
