OPCNet Broker DA HDA AE

OPCNet Broker® DA HDA AE is a secure OPC Classic tunneling solution that eliminates the complexity of DCOM configuration for remote industrial communications. It enables existing OPC clients and servers to exchange data across local and wide-area networks without requiring modifications to the underlying OPC applications.

Supporting OPC Data Access (DA), Historical Data Access (HDA), and Alarms & Events (AE), OPCNet Broker provides remote access to real-time values, historical records, alarms, and events. It replaces DCOM-based remote communication with a single configurable TCP port, simplifying firewall configuration and connectivity across network segments, domains, VPNs, and DMZs.

To help protect industrial data in transit, OPCNet Broker provides data encryption and user authentication, aligning with ISA/IEC 62443 industrial cybersecurity principles. Additional reliability features include automatic reconnection, data recovery after communication interruptions, configurable communication timeouts, and data compression to optimize network usage.
