Stefan Basenach is Head of Process Control Platform in ABB Process Automation since September 2023.
He joined ABB in 1993 and has held a variety of management positions within the company since then. Prior to his current role, he served as General Manager of ABB’s Process Automation Energy Industry Local Division in Germany. From 2010 to 2017 he was Global Product Manager for Substation Automation Products and Utility Substation business.
Stefan Basenach has a long experience in the execution of large automation project in different customer segments understanding the importance of international standards.
He holds a Diplom Engineering Degree from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
