Open Process Automation Standard (O-PAS)

Scope / Goals

Harmonise the OPC UA technology and O-PAS standard. This work is important to ensure interoperability and configuration exchangeability between the two technologies.
The collaboration will allow the use of the OPC Common Test Tool (CTT) for the verification of the specific parts of the O-PAS standard listed below. OPAF will work with the OPCF to generate test cases for O-PAS defined test purposes, which will then be implemented in the OPCF CTT.

Relevant O-PAS Parts

The collaboration focusses on the Information and Exchange Models described in O-PAS Parts 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.4, 6.5, and 6.6. It will include the joint effort of defining, reviewing and accepting test case definitions as well as improving the existing specification where an issue arises from the test case definition. It will also include reviewing the generated automation of the test cases for execution in the OPCF CTT (note: not all test case may be automated).
