Hi All,

I am assuming that the Core Components can be used to create OPC Classic client, is this correct?

If yes, can somone please point me or quick guide how to use it?

What I have done so far:

  • Installed OPC NET RCW (NuGet/ZIP). I have loaded the nuget package but it only contains OpcComRcw.dll. I tried to browse for the methods exposed by the assembly but I could not figure out how to create a server object for example.
  • I installed OPC Core Components Redistributable (x64) 3.00.108.msi with the headers enabled. But I can’t figure out how to use it or where the assemblies are installed if any.

I would really appreciate for any guidance.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I don’t have “corporate membership.”

This tutorial helped me get started.
