Hi
I was migrating a .NET Framework 4.7.2 Application to .NET 5.0 and I realized the application is making use of opcnetapi to connect to the opc da server. I realized that the opcnetapi build on 4.7.2 Framework is not fully supported for .NET 5.0 (Data change event is not triggered). Could anyone suggest me the alternative api/package to be used for .NET 5.0 targeted application.

I am not aware of any issue with .NET 5/6 and the NET API, however, you need to use the right assemblies.

Make sure are using  the netstandard2.0 or later version.

The NuGet packages have all versions. If you use the NuGets, Visual Studio will select the correct version.

I try to download this file and I receive a message: Access denied. You do not have permission to download this file.

I am trying to get OpcNetApi.dll for a .NET Core 7 application and I can't seem to get anything that works.

Only corporate members have access to that download.

The code currently requires .NET 5.0 but it should be possible to update to support .NET 7.0.
