How to use OPC DA2 with the Classic OPC .NET AP?|Classic OPC: DA, A&E, HDA, XML-DA, etc.|Forum|OPC Foundation

I developed an client using the OPC .NET API. I tested it using MatrikonOPC Simulation Server and everything seems to work fine.

Unfortunately when using the MatrikonOPC DDE Server, browsing stopped working. It doesn't seem to support DA3, although documentation specifies that it does.

I already tried using a ConnectData with property AlwaysUseDA20 set to true but still doesn't work.

I'm trying to use directly a Opc.DA20.Server but can't figure out what steps are required.

What's the best way to force DA 2 with this API?
