The new .net 5 runs on Windows and Linux

I’m looking for a robust method to connect with Classic OPC DA servers.

What would you recommend?

Thanks

Martin

OPC UA with a UA-COM gateway.

OPC Classic uses DCOM which is not supported on Linux. So even if you use .NET 5 you will not be able to use DCOM.

Yes, you can use DCOM with .NET 5/6.
