We (OPC Labs, http://www.opclabs.com) will be releasing a product (a new version of our QuickOPC toolkit) that can do what you are asking for. With the Excel Option for QuickOPC, you can have cells in Excel that automatically with data coming from OPC Data Access or OPC Unified Architecture servers, without any programming. You simply drag (or copy & paste) the dynamic data from the Connectivity Explorer tool to Excel.
