OPC DA failed to convert IOPCGroupStateMgt2

Hello,

I am new to OPC.

We are working on developing a .NET OPC client application which will support both DA,UA and AE .
Initially we tried using the opensource to develop the Client App for DA and is worked fine for most of the servers.
We run into a problem when we are testing with ABB 800Xa(ABB.AfwOpcDaSurrogate.1) system.
The Open source which we are using is failed to convert server com object to IOPCGroupStateMgt2 Interface for group reading.
I would like to know the proper OPC DLL/source code for OPC client application development and cost related to same.
We will be grateful for your help and support.

It is possible the server does not support the IOPCGroupStateMgt2 interface but it should support IOPCGroupStateMgt.

Check if that is the case.

Yes, That is the problem, I cannot change My OPC server, So Is there any way that I can force my OPC client(based on TitaniumAS opensource) to use IOPCGroupStateMgt interface or can you guide me to proper solution/DLL Which can help to solve the issue.

You will have to ask on the support forum for the client software you are using.

I am not familiar with TitaniumAS.
