OPC DA Sever Simuator|Classic OPC: DA, A&E, HDA, XML-DA, etc.|Forum|OPC Foundation

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to get familiar with OPC technology. In particular OPC DA.

I've read quite a lot about, yet I have some doubts that I want to clear by getting hands-on.

I'd like to install on my laptop an OPC DA Server and OPC DA Client to play a bit around and get a better understanding of such a technology. Is there any chance to get any for free? Could you please refer me to some links?

To be clearer, I do not have any PLC devices etc. to interface with. I would like to use a kind of simulator.
