Hello everyone,

forgive me if the question seem sounds stupid, but I’m having trouble understanding licence agreement.

So if I’d want to use OPC core components in my software product, am I allowed to distribute OPC core components with my product, and if so, should I register as a corporate member, get some kind of permission from OPC foundation, etc?

I did read this https://opcfoundation.org/lice…..ables/1.3/ but I can’t clearly understand all the restrictions.

Some clarification is much appreciated. Thanks!

Your understanding is correct: everybody – member as well as non-member – is allowed to distribute the OPC core components with their product. There is not advantage for corporate members.

The list of benefits for corporate members are listed here: https://opcfoundation.org/memb…../benefits/.
