Hello!
On OPC communication, number of variables is related to data type.
But I cannot find detail gudie, so I cannot select how many OPC server program or pc.
How much data can I deliver throught OPC communication in a second, with no problems with computer specfirciation and network tracffic?
I am operating OPC server to send more 6000 tags in a second.
Often, some tags are prroly connected. It returns to normal with simple action such as resetting a server and re-synchronized time.
When a problem occured, not all variable were not delivered.
Only a few groups in 10 groups had problems, and within one group, variables that were connected to the OPC client were dis-connected to OPC server. But the other variables that were not connected to the OPC client were still connected on OPC server.
And sometimes, within variables that connected to OPC client, some variables were continuously connected and dis-connected to OPC server and the others were disconnected.
It does not appear that the above phenomena occur regularly.
I think this problem is related to the maximum bit that can be transmitted to OPC communications.
Do you have any advice?

Max throughput depends on many variables.
If you have modern PC class systems on both sides with Ethernet then >100K double changes per second should be fine.
If you have structures or events it will be lower.
If you have embedded systems the max will be lower.
