Hi,

I am trying to connect with a ClearSCADA server via OPC HDA and OPC DA and can only see a subset of tags (those available to the guest account). The ClearSCADA server has been setup using the additional private security feature that uses the IOPCSecurityPrivate interface. I have tested this type of security using a test tool from OSI and the credentials I am trying to use work through that tool.

The OPC Foundation website includes a link that includes sample code for this interface (https://opcfoundation.org/deve.....lications/) and says its for .NET, but its a C++ project and does not use the .NET APIs.

I have found a similar post on this forum (https://opcfoundation.org/foru.....et-client/) that says I should pass the username/password in a ConnectData object. I have tried this and it does not work.

Can anyone shed any light on whether this is possible through the .NET API?

If so, has anyone got an example of how to implement this?

Thanks in advance!

Mike
