Hello,

 

I would like to know if it is possible to connect from an OPC-UA client to an OPC-AE Classic server.

I believe that an add-on is necessary on server side (tunnel ?)

A UAWrapper like Matrikon's OPC UA Wrapper will do just that.  It requires that the UA Client support the UA funcitionality needed and will convert the UA Client calls to Classic OPC calls.  It supports UA AC Events and Classic A&E (as well as DA and HA/HDA).
