Hi,

I am using a Kepware Server V6 with the TCP/IP Suite for siemens devices.

I have two client dll:

=> OpcNetApi 2.1.107.0

=> ClientAce from Kepware

Accesing the data using ClientAce is 10 times faster than with the OpcNetApi, I mean, using the OpcNetApi it can take up to two seconds get a few bytes from the PLC.

If I use Simatic .NET, accesing the data through OpcNetApi is much more faster, in the order of ms.

Has anybody experienced this Behaviour?

Thank you.

Regards.

Greetings, Are you sampling at different rates? That is the only reason why one client should get updates faster than another. Unless one client is consuming all of the bandwidth getting the data.

If you are doing an OPC DA connections I would recommend putting OPC Analyzer in between to see what the differences are in the requests and responses.
