Hi,

For client testing I can modify ServiceResponses OK. However I did not find a way to return a ServiceFault instead of a ServiceResponse. Can anyone point me to the right direction of how this can be accomplished or if this is in fact possible with the CTT?

Thanks!

Mark

Hello Mark,

as far as I know there is currently no test script in the CTT available, which changes the response of a server to a ServiceFault telegram.
This usually means, that there is currently no test case defined to test the behavior of a client for this kind of response. I will bring this up in the next compliance working group meeting.

Hi Alexander,

Do you know if the CTT for client testing in the meantime provides support for changing the server response from a PublishResponse to a ServiceFault?

Best regards,

Mark

Hi Mark,

unfortunately, it is not available yet, but good to know that you are still interested in this feature. We are currently preparing a bigger release of the CTT with major binary changes/enhancements. I'll talk to the team and see if this will be included. Just to make sure we keep it in our list, could you please create a feature request in our bug tracking tool https://mantis.opcfoundation.org?

Regards,
Alexander
