FAQ: How can I get the Compliance Test-Tools (CTTs)?|OPC Certification and Interoperability Testing|Forum|OPC Foundation

Who can download and use a CTT?
The Compliance Test Tools (CTTs) are available to OPC Foundation Corporate Members for free. Any one with an email of the corporate member organization can download the CTT.  In addition the CTT can be purchased by non-member as part of a certification service. 

Does the CTT provide unattended testing capabilities?
Absolutely, the CTT can be used as part of an automate test run for new product builds. Please check the application help documentation for more information including an example of integrating with Jenkins-CI.

Do I need a CTT?
The CTT has proven to be essential for OPC application development, it provides a high degree of application testing. It is required for Certification of an application.

Can I deploy a CTT?
CTTs cannot be distributed outside of the organization that obtained it, e.g. to affiliates, partners, or customers, etc.  CTT can only be used by the person that downloaded it.  It can not be used as a service for organization outside of the organization that obtained it.
