Device Communications Behavior 001
UA Server connects to external device(s), e.g. via Ethernet, Serial or other. Client connects to the server only and does not request or do anything with the server for a period of time that will cause a timeout on the session.
The server will eventually timeout and disconnect the client. During this time any underlying device(s) are not being polled. If they are being polled, then this behavior must be in accordance with the supporting documentation.
Kindly let me know Is session timeout mandatory for certification?

Dear Kishore,
all test cases of a mandatory conformance unit are required to be passed. The session timeout handling is of course also a required functionality, as otherwise the server will run out of system resources after a while.
