Hi Team,

There are some scripts in CTT v1.3.341.390 which we are thinking to modify as per the feature implemented in OPC client. Is it a good practice to do this or we are thinking in wrong direction ? If this is not a good practice then, how we should cover them while testing ?

Thank you.

Hi Dipika,

modifying to scripts to help you testing the specifics of your product are always fine. But please ensure, that it still tests what the test case describes. If you think those enhancements would be beneficial to others as well, we would be happy if you can provide them to us later on for an integration in the CTT.

Short note: During certification the certification test lab will work with the original version of the scripts or validates each individual change to ensure the test script is still testing what is expected.

Thank you Alexander.

I’ll try to create/update CTT scripts as required. If it will work as per expected results, I am happy to share with you for integrating it with CTT.
