Part 5 defines the base information model.
The standard folders and Server object are mandatory.
When a component is optional it has the ‘Optional’ modelling rule.
The built in types can be omitted unless the server has a non-UA sub-type. Then the entire inheritance hierarchy above the type needs to be present.

I need to qualify the statement I made above:
1) All types defined in Part 3 and Part 5 are MANDATORY.
2) NS=0 types defined in other parts (e.g. Part 8) are optional.
There is an exception for 1) for servers running on embedded h/w with limited resources (the micro-profile).
Any server running on PC class systems may not use this profile.
