Hi everybody,

I am currently just starting with the OPC UA. So please excuse me if I am asking any stupid questions! Thanks for having me here!

We are currently designing a vision system that can be accessed from different Clients using OPC UA.

One requirement would be to switch the ROIs frequently to obtain different portions of the image. To my understanding this does not fit into the regular recipe-handling.

I was thinking about using “jobs”. I did only see this in a presentation. Unfortunately I am not able to find a detailed description about it.

Does anybody now how to use this or where to find the specification?

Thank you and best regards,

Frank

OPC UA is a general framework that allows you create Objects with Variables and Methods that can have any behavior you need.
