Hi Team,

I am unable to import OpcUaAMLBaseTypesNodeSet2.xml as there are multiple nodeId's which has ParentNodeId attribute with no value . For ex: at line 110:

<UAObject NodeId="ns=1;i=5006" BrowseName="1:AutomationMLFiles" ParentNodeId="">

I think PArentNodeId should be present with some value so that we can link the node to its parent. Can you please confirm if this is issue in XML? If not, what should server do with the node whose Parent node id is missing?

Regards,

Shubhi Gogna

ParentNodeId is optional. Your importer should be able to handle it.

Hi Randy,

So in this case, where should we create the Object if PArentNodeId is missing. Shall we create directly under Objects folder or should we ignore creating this object in AddressSpace?

Regards,

The ParentNodeId is not a normative part of the NodeSet. It is convenience used to signal that a Node can be deleted when the parent is deleted. The actual location of a Node in the address space is specified by the References.
