I have been trying to build the visual studio solution as provided by the foundation from the link below.

Though they have recommended using VS 2017 I have VS2013. As I try I see lots of issues in the projects using VS2013.

Has anybody tried with VS2013?

The NETStandard codebase uses .NETCore which is not supported by older version of VS.

If they say VS2017 then that is what you got to use.

That said, VS2019 is free so you should simply upgrade and stop using the outdated version:

Could not build successfully by VS2017 or VS2019, I get lots of build error

Not sure why. I can fetch from GitHub and build with VS2019.

You may need 'restore nuget packages' first.
