Hi,
I use the UA ModelDesigner to create a simple Opc Ua Server for testing our Opc Ua Client. We want to support the decimal Datatype, that’s why I want to have it in the server. For testing whether the server is running correctly I use UA Expert, but also tried Softing Opc Ua Client.
I tried a lot of things, but didn’t get the Decimal running. Softing finds the struct and shows the scalar and value, but at writing I get a BadTypeMismatch.
So how do I need to write the model xml to get a working Decimal value node?

You need to raise an issue on OPCUA NETStandard github.
This does not sound like an issue with the generated code but with the core libraries.

Hi Randy,
if you can not help me with the xml, perhaps you can help me to create a decimal variable node directly in the node manager? Could you give me a code snippet for that? Thanks.

It note clear what you are looking for.
You set the the DataType of a Variable to Decimal in the ModelDesign.
If the code generated does not compile it is ModelCompiler issue.
If it compiles but does not work it may be a stack issue.
