Implementing an OPC driver|OPC UA Implementation: Stacks, Tools, and Samples|Forum|OPC Foundation

Hi,

I'm new to OPC, and I've been studying the sample projects, and reference documentation provided by the OPC Foundation. This is all very good stuff, and has helped me to gain a better understanding of how the OPC server manages data.

What I'm still looking for is any information about implementing a driver for a remote device. That is the part of the server which receives data from a device (e.g. an RTU), in some other protocol, and translates it to OPC data.

So I would greatly appreciate any links or resources to explain how to go about writing the driver code.
