Removing montiored items and suscription-inactive montior item problem

Hi ,When I am closing my OPCUA client ,I am removing monitor items and apply changes to subscription.Then I delete subscription from session before closing session.But still monitor items are not completely removed from server hence showing as inactive items.Is there any thing I am missing.

Closing the session with the 'deleteSubscriptions' flag set to true should remove all monitored items.

Thanks for your reply.I am doing similar thing but when I use server monitoring tool from Matrikon I can see few items which server is keeping as cache.I think it may be be due to parameter "disable monitor item cache " but changing that still doesn't do anything.

It is either a server bug or your monitoring client is keeping the items alive because it is monitoring them.

Do you know what the monitoring client is looking at?
