Hello Pradeip,
the expected reaction of the client depends on the exact scenario. For example, if the client is based on scripts for its business logic which handles a connection break in a special manner and does not require the data from the read request any more, the client doesn't need to try it again, after the connection is reestablished. On the other hand, if the data is still required for the client to do its task, then of course it needs to be retried to be read.
So there is no generic answer to your question, it very much depends on the client application and the need of the data. From a compliance perspective either behavior is fine as long as it matches the user expectation.
