Hello ,

OPC UA Aggregate Specification has reference input consisting of an entry with status as Bad_NoData.

Practically do we have such raw data sample to indicate absence of data?

As an aggregate library developer, I will be processing one interval at a time. and I will not have knowledge about the data of previous interval and later interval. How to recognize the Bad_No data?

Thanks & Regards

Samba

Samba,

Bad_NoData is a return status for when processing aggregates from historical data, i.e. there is no raw data in the interval you are looking at.  If you are processing aggregates, and you get an empty raw data set - this would be one of the possible return codes.  When processing history you will need some knowledge about data outside of the interval.  If you are just build the aggregate alogorithms, it might be processing that happens before the algorithm is called.
