Hello, 

I am new to OPC UA.

We are implementing OPC UA Client application.

Suppose the client is connected to the third party multiple axis cnc machine.

How do we know which node belongs to which axis position?

 

Should the third party company provide the info about the node to axis?

The OPC UA standard does not provide a CNC model. The OPC UA Server for the CNC machine has to provide this information in a vendor-specific way.
