Hi Team,

Need quick support regarding populating node information on address space for below scenario.

1.  Multiple nodes in an OPC-UA Server have the same name. All attributes of the nodes are the same, except the NodeIds. What should be the attribute to distinguish between the nodes? NodeId, browse name or display name ?

2. When I connected UA expert against this OPC UA Server I can see both the variable present in address space with same name. Please suggest if this meets OPC Standard or share the OPC specification reference on this.

NodeIds uniquely identify a Node. BrowseNames can be unique within the context of hierarchical references from the same source Node.

DisplayName is a human readable name and should be as unique as the BrowseName but there are no requirements.

Variables with the same name are common. The references to and from the Node allow you to understand the context.

i.e. a Variable withe the name EURange describes the source of the HasProperty so the Variable cannot be understood without knowing the parent.
