Hello,

I am new to OPC-UA technology. So, can anyone tell me the OPC-UA specifications part number in which I could find the software layers required to implement OPC-UA? Can anyone suggest any document/book so that I can increase my practical understanding of OPC-UA implementations? How shall I start learning about OPC-UA i.e. which OPC-UA part should I read first so that i get a better understanding of OPC-UA implementations?

Thanking You in Advance!

With Regards,

Hello,

OPC UA Part 4 is the definition of the OPC UA client / server services. But it is maybe a little bit detailed for a start.

The following book provides a good starting point for understanding OPC UA:

OPC Unified Architecture Hardcover – Oct 29 2010

Here you can find free demo libraries and examples for different programming languages:

The OPC Foundation site has a list of books that may also be available on eReaders.

https://opcfoundation.org/reso…..ces/books/

Also they have a reference that can be browsed online but a book is probably a better starting point.
