Hello experts,

can someone explain us briefly where are the basic differences between "OPC UA Machinery ItemState" and "Machinery OperationMode".
We don't really understand here where and when what is used because both are very similar for us.

This specification provides two StateMachines in the MachineOperationMonitoringType:

So a machine can be in 'production' mode but encountered a error and be 'outofservice'.

IOW, operation mode indicates what the machine should be doing.

item state indicates whether it is actually doing it.
