Hello all,

I was told it is possible for the server to establish the connection to the client.

I don't want setup port forward through my router (security reasons). Is this possible? If so, how is it done?

Thank you

This feature is part of Version 1.04 of the OPC UA specification. v1.04 is planned to be released this summer.

Reverse connection is specified in UA Part 6. This part is already available as Release Candidate in the OPC Foundation download area. Just look for "reverse hello".

Note that a Server will have to be configured with the Client address. This configuration is not specified.
