Hi,

A basic question. Does the current OPC Foundation SDK or any other SDK is used for testing of OPC UA communication via 5G or Bluetooth.

I understand that, OPC UA works over TCP/IP, HTTP(s) and if Bluetooth or 5G networks are TCP/IP enabled, does that work or some changes are needed in the SDK transport layers?

Thanks,

Mohit Agarwal

The only mappings available today require TCP/IP - either directly or via HTTPS.

While it is possible to define a non-TCP mapping the LOE would depend on the exact protocol being considered.

Ok, thank you very much Randy, it means, if the communication for Bluetooth or 5G is over TCP/IP, the available logic of the OPC UA Stack/SDKs would work as usual
