Hello team.

Please consider the following data as per OPC UA document;

Data for Historain 2 with;

  • TreatUncertainAsBad = True.
  • Stepped Attribute = False.
  • UseSlopedExtrapolation = False.
  • PercentBad = 100,  PercentGood = 100.
  • Input data for nearby intervals having issue from OPC UA doc;
  • 12:01:17 70 Raw, Uncertain Value is flagged as questionable
    12:01:23 70 Raw, Good
    12:01:26 80 Raw, Good
    12:01:30 90 Raw, Good
      No Data No more entries, awaiting next Value

For the aggregate Interpolative –

Output provided in the document for the intervals;

  • 12:01:30.000 90 Good
    12:01:35.000 102.500 UncertainDataSubNormal, Interpolated

But on manual calculation and cross checking the same with Tester utility of OPC, the value at 12:01:35.000 is 90 when UseSlopedExtrapolation = False, as is the case in H2. Please confirm the finding from your end else please give an explanation of how the value is 102.500.

Similarly for aggregate Time Average –

Output provided in the document for the intervals;

  • 12:01:30.000 96.250 UncertainDataSubNormal, Calculated
    12:01:35.000 108.750 UncertainDataSubNormal, Calculated

But on manual calculation and cross checking the same with Tester utility of OPC, the value at 12:01:30.000 is 90 and at 12:01:35.000 is 90 when UseSlopedExtrapolation = False, as is the case in H2. Please confirm the finding from your end else please give an explanation of how the value is 102.500.

Similarly for Total whose calculation is related to TimeAverage.

So here is a summary;

Aggregate Name Historian # Interval with Issue
Interpolative 2 1:35
TimeAverage 2 1.30, 1.35
Total 2 1.30, 1.35

Please confirm whether the above findings are correct or am I doing something wrong.

Thanks and Regards,

Siddhartha.

You are correct to be confused by the specification.  There is an issue with the last interval value.  This issue is discussed in the OPC Foundation issue tracker here http://opcfoundation-onlineapp…..hp?id=3310
