Hi,

I’m monitoring network devices from a Windows machine and I need to send alarms/events to a scada system (e.g. the up/down of a ping sensor on a switch). Is there a way to do that?

Thanks

You could get the IT Suite for KEPServerEX. IT contains a Ping Driver and an SNMP Driver. The SNMP driver would allow you to get the PING Status OID for the Switch or to get a Trap from the Switch for that.

Thanks for reply.

On my monitoring program I can already trigger an action on ping status change of a switch.

What I’d like to do is to send this information via OPC to display it on a scada system.
