Hello team.

I have a simple query regarding “Where to use simple bounding slopped extrapolation?”

Let the bounding strategy be simple.

Suppose we have following data in the sub-interval 1:26 to 1:40 and processing interval being 16 and we receive data points at;

Time      value         Status Code

1:30       100           Good

1:35       150           Good

Also let 1:35 be the last data point. So for calculating value at 1:40, should we use simple slopped extrapolation?

Are there any other scenarios where to use simple slopped extrapolation?

Does the Aggregate tester utility of OPC uses simple slopped extrapolation in their implementation, because it seems they have not implemented that?
